David W. Logsdon had already killed a man in 1981 before he went on his murderous Kansas City rampage.Logsdon killed Steven J. Foster in 1981, leaving two children without a father. Initially, Logsdon lied about the killing by saying that Foster had committed suicide with a gun but later Logsdon changed his story to say that he had a fistfight with Foster and that Logsdon acted in self-defence. There were no charges brought.
